Thanks to glowing reviews from friends, we found Karen Isaacson after our son, Freddie, was diagnosed with dyslexia, dysgraphia, and ADHD in 5th grade. For years, Freddie had been so frustrated at school, struggling with his reading and writing, which took a toll on his self-confidence.

After our first meeting with Karen, we knew we were partnering with someone who would be committed to helping us through Freddie’s learning challenges.

He would very happily attend their one-to-one tutoring sessions two to three times a week, where he would be fully engaged for the entire lesson. Karen's style is so positive, motivating and, most of all, FUN!

We would often hear animated conversations between the two of them and know that Karen was drawing out the best in Freddie. With her creative learning style, our son was able to grasp new concepts quickly and the two of them formed a very special connection that was a joy to see.

Since completing Karen's program, Freddie now has the tools and the confidence to tackle more complex reading in middle school and onward in to high school.
