When you take lessons with Karen, it's an interesting adventure! It can be difficult sometimes, even rocky and bumpy.

But it's worth it, because I can read now! I can read more accurately and more fluently.

 

In spelling, I learned lots of things that other kids don’t know. I started to feel like I was ahead of the game, instead of behind.

 

For example, I learned about Greek and Latin words. It was like going “behind the scenes" to get extra knowledge! That gives me a big advantage at school.
